In almost all duty stations, the respective Office of the Resident Coordinator leads the process locally. This also includes duty stations where both UN Development Coordination Office and missions of the UN Department of Peacekeeping Operations are present. It is highly advisable to have all UN agencies that are resident in a duty station to be included in the DSA review process. In addition, local UNDSS should be engaged for guidance on the safety and security aspects of the hotels that are selected for DSA review.
