The ICSC has taken steps to make the survey process as painless as possible. The online nature of the questionnaire allows many ‘ease-of use’ and ‘user-friendly’ features. The questionnaire itself has been streamlined since the last version eliminating duplication and reducing the number of questions overall.
It is mostly menu-driven, and equipped with numerous validation checks and default values that take out guesswork, making it much easier to complete.
Further, respondents can log in any number of times during the survey month, stopping and continuing where they left off, as their personal time allows, eliminating the need to set aside significant blocks of time to finish.
In addition, the ICSC has redesigned its survey-dedicated web site, anticipating and clarifying issues that may have been sources of confusion in the past.
