Education grant is only payable when staff member has incurred actual expenditures in respect of specified admissible items, based on documentary evidence (receipts). So, if the staff member's children attend a school that is free of charge (no tuition paid), the staff member will not receive an education grant. However, the staff member may claim back some of the money spent on books, etc.
